After-School Music Classes


We are thrilled to be partnering with local Bay Area schools in San Carlos, Menlo Park, Belmont and Redwood City to offer after-school music classes for all grade levels.

Piano Class

Piano Class is a fun 8- or 10-week class designed specifically to introduce TK-8th grade students to the piano. Students will develop the foundations of piano playing, including correct hand position and posture; will learn to read notes, rhythms, intervals and other music notation; and will learn to play popular, traditional, and classical songs. Keyboards will be provided at class, and each student will receive a lesson book. Students will be divided into small groups based on age and/or experience. Class curriculum designed for grades TK-3, 4-5, 6-8.

Ukulele Class

Ukulele Class is a fun 8- or 10-week class designed specifically to introduce TK-8th grade students to the ukulele. Students will learn correct hand position, finger picking and strumming styles, note and rhythm reading, and will learn to play popular, traditional, and classical tunes like “Riptide,” “Oh Susanna,” “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” and “Ode to Joy.” Students must bring their own ukulele, and each student will receive a lesson book. Students will be divided into groups based on age and/or experience. Class curriculum designed for grades TK-3, 4-5, 6-8.

Guitar class

Guitar Class is a fun 8- or 10-week class designed to introduce students to the guitar, and to get everyone playing music quickly. Students learn correct hand position and posture; finger picking and strumming technique; how to read notes, tablature, chord boxes and rhythms; and how to play popular, traditional, and classical songs like “Take Me to Church,” “7 Nation Army,” “Counting Stars,” “Stand By Me,” and “Ode to Joy.” Students must bring their own guitar, and will receive a lesson book. Students will be divided into groups based on age and/or experience. Class curriculum designed for grades K-3, 4-5, 6-8.
